EXAIR™ CABINET COOLER SYSTEMs

ETEST is proud to be the exclusive international distributor of EXAIR™ Compressed Air Products for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Stop electronic downtime due to heat, dirt, and moisture

How the cabinet cooler works

Compressed air enters the vortex tube powered Cabinet Cooler and is converted into two steams, one hot and one cold. Hot air from the vortex tube is muffled and exhausted through the vortex tube exhaust. The cold air is discharged into the electronic panel through the cold air distribution kit. The displaced hot air in the cabinet rises and exhausts into the atmosphere through the Coolers exhaust at a slight positive pressure. Thus, the control panel is both cooled and purged with cool clean air. Outside air never enters the control panel.

Special Cabinet Coolers

  • High temp models up to 93°C
  • Type 316 stainless steel
  • Purge models for non-hazardous areas
  • Cabinet Coolers NEMA 4x for hazardous areas
A low-cost way to cool and purge electronic control panels. Exair incorporates a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air with no moving parts. The cooler is installed in minutes through an electrical knockout. NEMA 12, 4 (IP54) and NEMA 4X (IP66) are available in many cooling capabilities for small and large panels.
High Temperature Cabinet Coolers for ambient temperatures of 52°C to 93°C available. Internal components of the cooler can withstand high temperatures that are found near furnaces and ovens.
Non-Hazardous Purge Cabinet Cooler Systems are ideal for dirty areas where contaminates may pass through small holes or conduits. Under normal conditions, the NHP Cabinet Cooler Systems provide a slight positive pressure in the enclosure by passing 1 SCFM of air through the cooler.
Type 316 Stainless Steel NEMA 4X Cabinet Coolers are suitable for food services, pharmaceutical, harsh and corrosive environments, and other applications where 316SS is preferred. Cooling capabilities are from 275Btu to 5600 Btu/hr.
NEMA 4X Hazardous Location Cabinet Cooler® Systems maintain NEMA 4X integrity in your electrical enclosure. These systems are UL Classified listed. These coolers are easy to install in conjunction with your purged and pressurized control system.
